Holiday Shipping Cut-Off Dates for 2020
European Grocery knows how important it is that your packages (and gifts) arrive on time. We work hard to make sure everything is turned around as fast as possible. We still ship as fast as always over the holidays and most orders are processed and shipped the same day (if placed prior to the 6pm eastern time cut-off). Carriers like USPS, and UPS are dealing with much higher volumes than normal and that can lead to unexpected delays and longer transit times. There can also be unforeseen delays due to weather and/or human error (hopefully not!). As always please give us a call if you have any questions.
We are expecting this holiday season (2020) to be very heavy and COVID-19 has complicated things even more as supply chains have been overworked and strained for most of the year. Most carriers have been working hard to try and bulk up for the holiday season but we expect to see more delays than usual (especially with the US Post Office).
UPS has no money-back guarantees on ANY of their shipments, starting March 24, 2020 and continuing until further notice. US Post Office may make recommendations but unless you ship Express Mail they never have money-back guarantees with any of their shipments.
No shipments will be processed Thursday November 26th, Friday December 25th, and Friday January 1st
